I can't believe that the year of 2012 is almost over. I feel that September, October, November, and December have all crept up on me and then bam the month was over. I guess this is how it feels working a full-time job as an adult. My parents always told me time goes by so much faster when you get older.
So, January 13 is the my 24th birthday!
What do I want for my birthday......???? I have been talking to my husband and lately I have been going puppy/doggy crazy. I really really want a dog. I would love to walk it, cuddle with it, play fetch and just enjoy the companionship that a dog can offer. Don't get me wrong, I love my pet rabbit Lola. She is great but she definately is not an easy pet to cuddle up to. She will be nice and lick me but sometimes she gets these diva attitudes. If I do ever get a dog I need to make sure that he/she will be able to get along with Lola (priority!).
Also, the year 2013 is going to mark of lot of changes in life. First off I will be starting two online classes through John's Hopkins University for my Masters of Biotechnology degree. I am nervous because I don't know if I can handle grad school and a full-time job. I am going to have faith!
Another big things is that Mike will be graduating with his degree in graphic design in the Fall of 2013. I am really proud of him and of all his accomplishments.
Again, what do I want for my birthday? A good year is all I am asking. I am ready for you 2013 and I don't want to dissapoint.
Oh wow, best of luck with the classes! And yea, the last few HAVE flown by. Yikes.
ReplyDeleteAs for a doggy, that is a wonderful idea :) Once you decided what type of dog you'd like, you should check out local rescues or shelters, they are so many deserving dogs (sometimes on death row) needing a home. We have 3 dogs, 2 of which were rescued. They are the best!!
